What it is, and isn't
CryptoBolt tracks markets and helps you think about them. It doesn't touch your money.
CryptoBolt (also written Crypto Bolt) is an independent, self-funded crypto market terminal — live spot & futures prices, charting, an AI-generated market read, and a risk-free paper trading simulator. It's built and maintained by one person, not a company or exchange.

Buy/sell of real crypto is handled entirely by Binance, a separate third-party exchange — CryptoBolt never touches that transaction.
Most free crypto terminals are cluttered or paywalled. CryptoBolt started as a personal project to have one clean, fast screen with live prices, charts, and an AI second opinion — and grew into something worth sharing publicly.
The AI market read isn't a black box guessing at numbers. It's grounded in live inputs — current price action, funding rates, and the Fear & Greed Index — and run through your own Groq API key rather than a shared, rate-limited backend. That means the commentary reflects what the market is actually doing right now, not a stale training snapshot. See how the pipeline stays grounded for the technical breakdown.
Prices and order flow are pulled from Binance's public market-data API; supplementary market data comes from CoinGecko. Nothing is proxied through a paid data vendor, which is part of why the terminal stays free to use.
Development is ongoing and mostly driven by user feedback submitted through the contact form. Recent additions include a paper trading leaderboard, portfolio tracking, and price alerts — see the features page for the current list.
